Synopsis
Valna, a middle school student who loves painting, sits on the shore of her favorite beach, which now looks dirty and deserted. She begins painting the beautiful beach she remembers from the past. But suddenly, her painting starts to show garbage—plastic, bottles, and fishing nets—things she never drew.
Confused, Valna notices a glass bottle washed ashore by the waves. Inside is a message that reads, “Look around you.” As she reads it, Valna finally realizes that the beach around her is truly covered in trash. She slowly begins picking it up, and soon, other children join her.
Now, Valna paints her beach once again—not the dreamlike beach she remembers, but the real beach, clean and alive once more.
The message is simple yet powerful:
“Sometimes, what we need to clean isn’t the paper… but reality.”
