Synopsis
This film is the result of the work developed at the Let It Happen Actors School in 2024/2025, with 70 young people aged between 12 and 18.
Story
Three decades. One house. A past that never died.
In the 1950s, cut off from the world, there was a bleak place where fear reigned and discipline was pushed to the limit. At the Santo Inácio Reeducation Center, a cruel woman shaped “troubled” youths, stopping at nothing to achieve her goals.
In the 1990s, a group of students entered the now-abandoned house to work on a school project — unknowingly freeing something that had long been imprisoned within those walls. What seemed to be just a defunct school soon became the stage for strange and terrifying events.
In the present day, another group, seeking shelter from a storm, finds itself pursued by an unknown, chilling presence in a house filled with whispers and shadows.
Separated by time but bound by the echo of a story that refuses to die, these young people — facing the same evil — will discover the true value of friendship when pushed to the edge.
The House is a supernatural and psychological horror film where friendship becomes the key to survival, and the past always finds a way to return. Some secrets never stay buried. Some places never forget.
