The Daughter

8 years ago, Shaddrack lost his fiancé and mother of their child in a fatal accident, leaving him alone as the single parent to their daughter Wanga. Although facing challenges at his work place, Shadrack proves he is able to work and take care of his child at the same time, but his relationship with his daughter is strained by her impossible maternal grandparents, Donald and Lizzy who are in an ongoing custody battle against him over custody his own daughter. Shadrack the father has to deal with alternating weekend’s interim parenting plan that inconvenience both his life and career. On the other hand, Shadrack’s company is running low on funds as he’s spent a fortune over the court appearances that have been going on for years now. Donald, the grandfather who uses a well-connected lawyer stops at nothing to take the child away from Shadrack. He cleverly schemes up with Lungisani, his assistant, permanently take Shadrack down. Shadrack isn’t going down without a fight but cunning Donald is always one step ahead of him.
