Synopsis

In the hamlet of El Alfarcito, in the Quebrada del Toro (Salta, Argentina), students from the Mountain Secondary School learn filmmaking while capturing the course of water across their territory, revealing ancestral practices that remain alive in the community. From its source in the mountains, the water gives life to the crops, shapes the clay of the potters, and inspires the suri costumes —garments of ancient rituals to invoke the rain—.
