අපේක්ෂා

“අපේක්ෂා” meaning Hope, is a docudrama told through the eyes of Buddhist monks and the families of cancer patients who travel long distances in search of treatment and shelter. Blending real perspectives with the dramatized story of Samith, the film captures the silent endurance of those displaced by illness. Within the miles of suffering, compassion becomes their only refuge. අපේක්ෂා is a reflection on distance, faith, and the fragile hope that survives even when everything else fade away.
