Synopsis
After losing both of their parents in a storm while out at sea, Ombak (19) was forced to shoulder a heavy burden and responsibility as the head of the family. Although they live in a harsh but hopeful coastal village, Ombak had to drop out of school and become a fisherman to support himself and his younger brother. His greatest hope is for his brother, Umar (18), to attend college and achieve the dreams that they once imagined despite their life in poverty. But life isn’t always easy; amidst economic pressure and the temptation of a shortcut, Ombak remains steadfast in his determination so that Umar can go to university.
